Pride and Prejudice
Oh, what a wonderful movie. Don't you think so? Well, even if you don't, I do. I just went to see it at the local theater last night. I think it was even better than the original movie. Although I can't compare it to Austen's book, I still believe it to be just a good movie in general. There is that feeling when you come out of the theater of just sighing in relief and completed expectation that they(Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy) are finally married. They love each other not just out of feeling, but for their character. It's nice when there can be a pure marriage not messed up by hollywood. Not that hollywood hasn't changed Austen's story in ways, but that they didn't have to put in a bunch of garbadge to make the ratings PG or higher. I think I will have to purchase the dvd once it comes out.
